Lorraine Flanagan ... 25th November by Sarah 6th class
Lorraine Flanagan visited our school on the 24th Nov. 2010. She worked with all the pupils in the school. She works for an 'Taisce' for Green Schools. First Lorraine worked with the Junior & Senior Infants .She made paper fish and played a water game with them. Then worked with first & second class & third and fourth class in the hall.
Then our class (5th &6th) went down to the hall. First we made "bath bombs". It was great fun. We got to chose the scent i.e. peppermint or lavender.
Then we played a "matching game" to find out how much water we use at home. E.g. taking a bath can use up to 90 litres while a shower uses 35 litres.
