Paddy Lowery was our visitor today. He is a "diviner." This means he has the gift to find "underground water". He is a little over ninety years old and is one of the very few who share this special gift. He brought with him two metal "L"- shaped rods and a hazel rod.
If there is water under the ground the rods will move and if there is no water under the ground the rods won't move. Paddy said that water runs almost 400ft under the ground. He realised that he had this talent when he was thirty years of age. Paddy can find underground water for people who want to dig a well .Paddy said he goes out on request and does not charge anything. After he talked to us he brought us outside. He found somewhere that had water underground. I really enjoyed Paddy's visit.
