Senior Infants and First Class had a wonderful time dressing up as our favourite characters for world book day! Little Red Riding Hood, Tom Crean, Eamonn De Valera and Harry Potter all came to visit today along with many other characters. We also had a pre-loved book fair in school today organised by our Parent's Association. We had a fantastic day :)

We were learning all about the number 6 in our Maths lesson. We made sets of six and went on a number quest. Maths is a lot of fun!
We had a brilliant time on Sports Day! We participated in novelty races, an obstacle course, dance, yoga, athletics and parachute games. We had so much fun!
We planted sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and wildflower seeds in our garden box. They are already starting to grow. Plants need soil, water and sunshine to grow and thrive!
Junior and Senior Infants went on school tour to Playtown in Tullamore on Monday 20th June. We had a wonderful day. We also visited the playground in Tullamore town park and had an ice cream from the ice cream van. We had so much fun! It is World Book Day and we have dressed up as characters from our favourite books! We love reading and World Book Day is so much fun. We made book marks and took part in a World Book Day quiz this morning.
We love P.E. We stay fit and healthy! We jump over hurdles and run through ladders. We practice sprinting.
We are having fun this morning playing during Aistear. WE have been learning all about the Arctic. Some of the groups are making igloos. Others are learning about Arctic animals. One group is working on jigsaws and puzzles and another is playing in the sand.
