Our Easter Egg Hunt

Action week in our school.

We were very active during "Action Week". The weather was beautiful and we stayed outdoors for all the activities. We did athletics with Emmet, PE with teacher, games & movement skills with Adrian and yoga with Anna.  Look at us having lots of fun in the sunshine.

Where does our food come from ?

We learned all about "Food" in our Aistear, geography and science.  We learned that fruit and vegetables come from plants and give us lots of vitamins. Dairy food comes from milk. We like milk, cheese, yogurts and ice cream. Meat comes from animals. Cereals such as wheat is grown by the farmer.  Bread, biscuits, and breakfast cereals come from cereals.
To finish our project about food, we had a fruit salad. We loved tasting different fruits  such as pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, apples and oranges. We went to Oonagh's shop to buy some ice cream to put on our delicious fruit salad.
Ann and Vera tasted our fruit salad too !!

A yummy fruit salad in the sunshine .

Sports Day in Drumcullen Pitch
Look at us having fun during Sports Day.  We had lots of activities such as potato & spoon races, sack races, teddy races, running races, athletics with Emmet, games with Adrian and rugby with Denis..
