Welcome to the Junior Infants' Page

There are twenty three pupils in our classroom and Ms.Walsh is our teacher.

We love learning and discovering new things.

We have oak trees outside our classroom.

Trees are very important. They give us oxygen. They provide shelter and homes for lots of creatures. We discovered that many creatures live in our oak trees. Beetles, birds, spiders and insects make their homes in these trees. Squirrels eat the acorns.  We did bark rubbings and felt the rough, hard and bumpy texture of the trunk while the leaf rubbings were smooth and soft.

                                Jersey Day
The junior infants learned about the wonderful work that GOAL does in poorer parts of our world.

Maths is fun...... We can make sets.
