We had a soccer tournament organised in the school by Leah Gath and Sasha Connolly. The children were divided into teams with the Junior and Senior infants having a tournament between their own classes. Each day Leah and Sasha came in at lunch to play off the games and referee them. The children really enjoyed it. The winning team for the tournament was "Spain".
School tour 2016
On Wednesday 8th Junior and Senior Infants along with Ms Maher, Ms Norris and Ms Teehan travelled to Ballaun, Co. Galway to Turoe Pet Farm. A fantastic day was had by all. Have a look at our pictures!!!!
Sports Day 2015!
We were blessed with lovely, sunny weather for our sports day this year. Ms Howell and Ms Maher did a really good job of organising all our fun games! We had sprinting, chicken running, a sack race, the egg and spoon and an obstacle course. And that was just before break! After break we enjoyed lots of fun relay races, especially the sponge relay and the jigsaw relay. At lunch time we got lovely treats from some of the mammies! Next, we went to the basketball court and had lots of fun dancing with the older classes and even the teachers and parents! The day finished with the Slow Bike Race. Some of the class brought in their bicycles, which were beautifully decorated, and they raced them across the yard. We loved sports day!
